Herbert Nkala

Board Chairman

A businessman in his own right, Hebert is the Chairman of a highly diversified trading and investment company. He is also a business and marketing consultant with several mandates locally and abroad. Hebert is the former founding Group Chief Executive of Rainbow Tourism Group. He was previously Marketing Director of Dairibord as well as National Breweries. He is also Chairman of Turnall Holdings Limited, Homelink, Zimbabwe Grain Bag and also non-executive Director of Astra Holdings, Tanganda Tea Company and Lobels Bread P/L where he is a major shareholder. A trustee of the Joshoa Mqabuko Nkomo Foundation, Hebert holds a bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree from the University of Wales and a Masters of Business Degree from the University of Zimbabwe.

John Mushayavanhu

John is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Zimbabwe (AIBZ), and holds a Diploma in Management from Henley Management College, United Kingdom, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from Brunel University, United Kingdom. A career banker, John has over 30 years in the financial services sector, gained through senior positions in corporate and retail banking held with a local multinational bank. John joined FBC Bank as an Executive Director in the Corporate Banking division in October 1997. John became Managing Director of FBC Bank and Deputy Group Chief Executive after the establishment of FBC Holdings in 2004. He was appointecd Group Chief Executive in June 2011. He is the current President of the Bankers Association of Zimbabwe and sits on the Boards of Turnall Holdings Limited and GB Holdings Limited amongst others.

Trynos Kufazvinei

Trynos is a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) who completed his articles with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Zimbabwe) in 1992. Trynos holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Master of Business Administration and was appointed to the Board as Finance Director in October 2003. He became Group Finance Director upon inception of FBC Holdings Limited in 2004. He was appointed Deputy Chief Executive in June 2011. Trynos sits on the board of various companies.

Stanley Kudenga

Stan is a Chartered Accountant who also holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master in Business Leadership degrees from the University of Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively. He is a respected Investment Banker who has worked for various local financial institutions in the areas of finance and corporate & structured finance. Stan joined FBC Bank in June 2002 as Executive Director Investment Banking a position he held until his appointment as managing Director of FBC Reinsurance in October 2006. He also sits on various external company boards including a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed company and the Zimbabwe Investment Authority.

Webster Rusere

Webster commenced his banking career in 1982 and rose though the corporate and retailing banking ranks to become Head, Global Trade Finance and Cash Management Services with a local multinational bank in 1995. He also served in other senior positions covering local and foreign Treasury Management, International Trade Finance, Correspodent Banking and Fund Management. He joined FBC Bank Limited in March 2000 as Project Manager and rose to become Managing Director of FBC Bank Congo Sarl in November 2000. After the expiry of the DRC management contract in 2004, he was appointed Head, Retail Banking Division. He was the Managing Director for FBC Building Society before his appointment as FBC Bank Managing Director in June 2011.

Kenzias Chibota

Kenzias is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from University of Zimbabwe. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Destiny Electronics (Private) Limited and is on the Board of Directors of Talent Vision and Sound (Private) Limited and FBC Reinsurance Company Limited.

Gertrude Chikwava

Getrude holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Management and sits on the boards of various companies. She previously worked for The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe for sixteen years.

Phillip M. Chiradza

Phillip has a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Management. He has 28 years experience in the financial services sector and is a former Managing Director of Beverly Building Society.

Canada, a Chartered Accountant by training, has wide experience in various sectors of commerce and industry in Zimbabwe. He is the current President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe).

James M. Matiza

A fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, James holds diplomas in Social Security Financing from Italy and a Business Studies Degree from the University of Zimbabwe respectively. He also holds an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and an MSC in Social Protection Financing from Maastritcht University in the Netherlands. He is the General Manager of the National Social Security Authority of Zimbabwe where he has served in various capacities for over 15 years. He is also a board member of ZIMRE Holdings Limited.

Johnson Rex Mawere

Johnson previously served as Deputy Director of the District Development Fund (DDF) and Town Clerk of Kwekwe. He has also served on the Boards of Air Zimbabwe and Affretair and as Chairman of Avohn Steel Industries (Private) Limited. Mr Mawere is former Executive Mayor of the City of Kwekwe, a position that he held for eight years. As Town Clerk and Mayor he was instrumental in the elevation of then Municipality of Kwekwe to its city status. Currently Mr Mawere is pursuing his own business interests.
